Itinerary

Delhi - Jaipur
Report at Safderjung Railway station in the late afternoon and proceed for check-in formalities. You will be welcomed with music and marigold garlands by Palace on Wheels staff. You will be escorted to respective saloons for overnight stay.

Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and proceed for Jaipur sightseeing. Visit Amber Fort Palace which is a classic fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, built with red sandstone and white marble. Experience a royal ride on an elephant, taking you up the hill, to the entrance of the fort. These elephants are lovingly painted and beautifully attired with embroidered velvet and glittering ornaments. Continue the tour towards visiting JalMahal which is a manmade reservoir, located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. This architecture is a perfect blend of Mughal and rajasthani style. Later, pay a visit to the City palace which is a palatial complex in the walled city and still houses to the royal family. Visit JantarMantar, one of the largest observatories in India and lastly, you will visit HawaMahal, also known as Palace of Winds. The palace has 953 windows also known as Jharokhas decorated with intricate and beautiful lattice work. The purpose of the lattice work in the palace was to allow the royal ladies to observe the festivals and everyday life on the street below being unseen from the outside.

Ranthambore Tiger reserve - Chittoragarh - Udaipur
Early in the morning, arrive at Sawai Madhopur Railway Station and proceed for jungle safari Ranthambore National Park which is home to Tigers, Panthers, Bears, Pythons, Crocodiles and different species of Deer. Return back to luxury train for Chittorgarh.
In the afternoon, arrive at Chittorgarh and visit Chittorgarh Fort and enjoy Sounds & Light Show. Return to train for dinner and depart for Udaipur. Overnight in train.

Udaipur - Jaisalmer
Upon arrival, proceed for Udaipur sightseeing. Visit the City Palace which has been built over a period of 400 years under the reign of the Mewar dynasty. Spend some time at Saheliyon-Ki- Bari, a garden laid for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. Next stop at Bagore-Ki-Haveli which is an illustrious palace decorated by mirrors. Presently the government uses it as a cultural Centre for western India with a fully functional museum and various musical activities occurring throughout the year. Proceed for the Boat Ride on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. From the boat, you will be able to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan desert.
Return back to board a train in the afternoon and depart for Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Upon arrival, proceed for Jaisalmer sightseeing. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site. The fort rises like a sunbeam from the golden sands of the desert and set on the Trikuta Hill in the midst of the vast Thar Desert, symbolizes the power of the Rajput dynasty. Inside the fort, visit the Jain temples which are beautifully sculptured. Now continue the tour with visiting some beautiful havelis or mansions of Jaisalmer such as Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Nathmalki Haveli and Patwon Ki Haveli which are the authentic pictures of medieval architecture in India. Drive past the Tazia Tower which is an enchanting 5 storied structure; delicately carved balconies are the best part about Tazia Tower.
Late in the afternoon, proceed for Sam sand dunes to explore the desert and view the sunset. You may enjoy the Camel safari/ Jeep Safari to make the trip more exciting. Return back to board a train in the night and depart for Jodhpur.

Jodhpur – Bharatpur
Upon arrival, proceed for Jodhpur sightseeing. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort which stands a hundred feet in splendor on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. After this you would visit JaswantThada Memorial, built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899 AD, in the memory of Jaswant Singh II, his father. Later, pay a visit to UmaidBhawan Palace, an architectural marvel and truly an edifice which was laid in 1928 under the guidance of chief architect- Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya and Sir S.S. Jacob. At last, visit the Clock Tower.
Return back to board a train and depart for Bharatpur.

Bharatpur – Agra
Early in the morning, arrive Bharatpur and proceed to visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Site Heritage. This sanctuary houses different species of Indian Birds and several migratory birds from countries like- Europe, Siberia, Tibet and China.
Return back to board a train and depart for Agra. Upon arrival, proceed to visit TajMahal, a white marble mausoleuml built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz.
In the evening, drive back to Railway Station to board a train which departs for Delhi.
