Mehrangarh Fort - The Mehrangarh Fort stands a hundred feet in splendor on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. The highlights are its seven imposing entrances and exquisitely designed palaces like Moti Mahal (Jodhpur Zenana), Sheesh Mahal, Takhat Vilas and Phool Mahal, adorned with the architectural splendour of the royals. Mirror work, intricate ornamentation, beautiful glass panel, alcove and impressive woodwork are the main highlights of these palatial buildings.
Jaswant Thada - It is a memorial built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899 AD, in the memory of his father Jaswant Singh II. This splendid edifice is famed as one of the most beautiful white marble cenotaphs with intricate carvings. Its impeccable design and architecture represents the fine craftsmanship of the bygone era. You can see the beautiful portraits of the various rulers of Jodhpur.
Umaid Bhawan Palace - An architectural marvel and truly an edifice which was laid in 1928 under the guidance of chief architect- Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya and Sir S.S. Jacob. Also known as Chittar Palace, this palace is divided into three areas, namely a heritage hotel, museum and the Maharaja’s royal residence.
